Mr. Young is a seasoned litigator. His diverse experience includes Estate and Trust Disputes, Trust Administration, Business and Real Estate Law, Complex Civil Litigation, Products & Premises Liability, Intellectual Property, Class Actions, and many other Civil & Commercial matters.
Mr. Young’s extensive experience includes alternative dispute resolution, law and motion, discovery, and trial preparation. Before joining the Hess-Verdon law firm, Mr. Young worked for two national law firms where his practice involved a broad range of civil litigation matters. It included the representation of multi-national corporations, governmental entities, and highly complex litigation cases. He takes pride in achieving success on behalf of his clients in State and Federal Courts.
Trust Litigation and Administration:
Mr. Young handles many of the firm’s contested and uncontested Court proceedings, including trust contests; litigated trust matters; court accountings; petitions for suspension, removal, and a surcharge of trustees; disputed conservatorship and guardianship proceedings; determination of heirship to assets; disputes between co-trustees; disputes with creditors; wrongful death issues; and court-supervised sales of real property sales.
Mr. Young represents individuals as beneficiaries of a trust or estate, but he also guides, protects, and defends private professionals and corporate trustees in their capacity as a trustee. He has experience in advising trustees regarding their duties and obligations when administering trusts and estates.
Mr. Young has successfully advised clients with the distribution of trust assets involving residential and commercial real estate, businesses, and complex financial issues involving many beneficiaries with conflicting interests.
The experience that Mr. Young holds is extremely valuable, especially when handling our client’s matters that require litigation.
